AMC Global Media lists V/H/S/Mixtape for Shudder on October 9, 2026, and iHorror and Blabbermouth.net give the same date. None of the outlets says in which countries it streams.
iHorror lists segments from Renee Zhan, David Moreau (“Heartbeat”), Ernest Dickerson (“The Music of Mr. Sze”) and RZA (“Death Tone”), with GWAR hosting the wraparound and music-video interludes from Flying Lotus and Ghost’s Tobias Forge. Blabbermouth.net adds that Zhan’s segment uses puppets from Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.
In an interview with Rue Morgue, Zhan said hiding a puppeteer was “a practical problem” in a single handheld shot. Dickerson said he worked the camera into his story by making his lead a film student wearing glasses with a camera in them.
